Paolo, I'm definitely going to try it out, so I'll definitely let you know how it goes. As you say it's so simple it's definitely worth trying. The school in Irelad seemed to think it worked well enough to use in class, and I'm sure that with a bit of trial and error teachers could find it just as versatile as the "fully-fledged" versions. Eric, you're totally right that you will need a data projector and you're correct too when you say they don't come cheap. However, you still need a data projector when you buy an IWB and they ain't cheap then either :-) Of the €4000+ we spent on our IWB / data projector combo recently about a quarter of it was for the projector, and that was because we got a fancy "short throw" one too. Checking on www.kelkoo.it , you can pick up a cheap-ish projector for €350 which is still a pretty good saving on the full blown version don't you think? Anyone else fancy an IWB experiment?
